Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia lost for the first time in the second stanza of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season after they were beaten in Kaduna by Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna.
A lone goal off a corner kick by substitute Ikenna Offor in the 77th minute gave the home side all the three points at stake.
The result leaves the Umuahia based side in search of their first away victory of the season and a second away draw.
Next for the Umuahia Warriors will be a home game against Kwara United in a Match Day 22 encounter.
