Players and officials of Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia have arrived safely in Gombe State ahead of the Match Day 36 encounter of the Nigeria Premier Football League against Gombe United.
Pantami Stadium, Gombe, will play host to the fascinating encounter as the Pride of Abia, who are currently 14th on the log will look to better their position by going for all the three points at stake.
While speaking with the club’s media ahead of the game, Abia Warriors midfield warlord, Daniel Wotlai is not bothered about the home draw against Bendel Insurance in the Match Day 35 encounter played at the Umuahia Township Stadium, but believes that the quality of the young Abia Warriors team will count at the end of the day.
“…every game is different, it’s a different game, it’s a different opponent and a different mentality. So, we’re not worried at all. I know the team, I know the qualities each player has, I know the quality we have as a team. So we’re not worried at all because, I know at the end of it, we will definitely get the result.”
The match comes up tomorrow Wednesday, 12th June 2024; kick off time is 3:30pm.
