The Chairman, management, coaches, players and staff of Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia have paid a condolence visit to the Vice Chairman of the club, Hon Dennis Anokwuru on the passing of his father, Late Chief Monday Anokwuru, at his country home, Ngodo, Umunwanwa in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State.
The team led by the Club Chairman, Coach John Obuh, was received by the Vice Chairman and his mother Mrs Beatrice Anokwuru.
The visibly delighted host, expressed his gratitude to the Warriors family even as he noted the harmony and cordial relationship that exist in the club.
Earlier, Abia Warriors Chairman, Coach John Obuh, while conveying the condolences of the club to the family, presented the club’s official letter of condolence and a gift to the host.
The Technical Adviser of the club, Coach Imama Amapakabo, in his remarks, prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the transition of their Patriach.
The family’s condolence register was also signed by Abia Warriors Secretary, Mr Godson Eluwa, on behalf of the club.
