Abia Warriors last League game in the first stanza of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional League season against Plateau United has been rescheduled.
The match which was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday,4th April will now take place on Monday, 5th April and will be broadcasted live on the NPFL.TV.
In a released signed by the League Management Company Chief Operating Officer,Salihu Abubakar, stated the reason for the change in date and time of the fixture was as to accommodate the double header which will be played at the Okigwe township stadium and Broadcasted Live on the NPFL.TV.
With the recent development, Abia Warriros will trade tackles with Plateau United on Monday, 5th April by 2pm whilst Heartland will play host to Adamawa United by 4pm. All games to be played at the Okigwe township stadium.
In the letter dated 1st April sent to the Various Chairmen and Team Managers of the involved clubs enjoined the teams to make all necessary arrangements for a successful hosting having in mind Covid-19 protocols.
